Volleyball Recap: Western Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Western and Valley squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Western had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Vikings.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 25-20.

Western has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Valley, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-10.

Western does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley, they will challenge Boulder City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
