Basketball Recap: Russellville Takes a Loss

Russellville lost against Farmington back in February of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Russellville Cyclones were dealt an 86-27 defeat at the hands of the Farmington Cardinals. The contest marked the Cyclones' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Russellville has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Farmington, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Russellville will face off against Mountain Home at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Farmington, they will challenge Alma at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Farmington knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Alma likes a good challenge.
