Soccer Recap: North Smithfield Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, North Smithfield was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Smithfield Sentinels finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Friday.

Brynn Santos and Lora Halliwell scored both of North Smithfield's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

North Smithfield's draw gives them a new season record of 0-1-1. Meanwhile, Smithfield's record is now 0-1-1.

North Smithfield and Smithfield will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Northmen are set to square off against their familiar foe Scituate at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Smithfield will face off against rival Barrington at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
