Soccer Recap: Avalon Comes Up Short

The Avalon Black Knights lost 11-1 to the Springdale Prep Lions on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Avalon have lost by exactly ten goals.

Avalon's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Springdale Prep, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Avalon will head out to take on Washington Latin Public Charter School at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Springdale Prep, they will venture away from home to face off against Flint Hill at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Springdale Prep are facing Flint Hill at the right time seeing as Flint Hill are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
