Baseball Recap: Auburn Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

Auburn extended their postseason success on Saturday against Bryant. They came out on top against the Hurricanes by a score of 7-3. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Max Autrey looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Will Whatley was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Bryson Sheppard was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Auburn's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-15. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bryant, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-12.

As of now, neither Auburn nor the Hurricanes have any future games scheduled.
