Baseball Recap: Bellevue East Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Bellevue East was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln Northeast Rockets. The contest marked the Chieftains' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Bellevue East got a good showing from Connor Dolezal, who tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Bellevue East now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lincoln Northeast, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
