Softball Recap: Pleasure Ridge Park Takes a Loss

After flying high against South Oldham last Wednesday, Pleasure Ridge Park came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Larue County Hawks on Friday, falling 10-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost three in a row.

Pleasure Ridge Park saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avianna Burks, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Pleasure Ridge Park now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Larue County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasure Ridge Park will face off against Ballard at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Larue County, they will venture away from home to take on North Hardin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
