Baseball Recap: Chisholm Trail Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Chisholm Trail lost to Saginaw back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Rangers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Rough Riders.

Chisholm Trail let Nathan Pi?a and Kenneth Rosado run wild. Pi?a scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Rosado scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those two hits gave Pi?a a new career-high.

Chisholm Trail always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Chisholm Trail's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-12. As for Saginaw, they are on a 19-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-23-1.

Chisholm Trail will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rough Riders: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
