Volleyball Game Preview: Kings Christian Crusaders vs. Wonderful College Prep Academy Lions

The Kings Christian Crusaders will square off against the Wonderful College Prep Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Kings Christian earned a 3-1 victory over Laton. The win continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won seven in a row.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (86-82) Kings Christian actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 7-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Wonderful College Prep Academy posted their closest victory since August 19th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Alpaugh 3-2.

Wonderful College Prep Academy was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-27, 17-25, 25-11, 15-12.

Wonderful College Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Kings Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.

Kings Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Wonderful College Prep Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
