Baseball Game Preview: Maxwell/St. Patrick's vs. Centennial Broncos

Maxwell/St. Patrick will head out on the road to face off against the Centennial Broncos at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Maxwell/St. Patrick's and 11 for Centennial dating back to last season.

Maxwell/St. Patrick's came up short against North Platte on Thursday, falling 13-6.

Michael Lesmes was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one double. That double was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Lindsey, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Centennial lost 13-1 to Adams Central on Tuesday.

Maxwell/St. Patrick's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
