Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sweet Springs). They put the hurt on the Kingsville Tigers with a sharp 25-2 win on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Greyhounds with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory was the third in a row for Sweet Springs, bringing their record up to 12-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Kingsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sweet Springs will face off against Wellington-Napoleon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kingsville, they will take on St. Paul Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers are facing the Saints at the right time seeing as the Saints are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
