Basketball Recap: Ralls Comes Up Short

Ralls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 96-14 loss at the hands of the New Home Leopards. While losing is never fun, the Jackrabbits can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1041st, while the Leopards are ranked 113th).

Ralls' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-9. As for New Home, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Ralls wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 63-17 loss against New Deal on the 20th. As for New Home, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 80-13 victory against Post on the 20th.
