Basketball Game Preview: Boyle County Rebels vs. Knott County Central Patriots

The Boyle County Rebels and the Knott County Central Patriots will round out the year against one another at at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Boyle County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Saturday, Boyle County might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Highlands an easy 94-71 victory. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (70), the Rebels still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Knott County Central). They took their match on Thursday with ease, bagging a 91-50 win over June Buchanan. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Patriots have posted since February 27th.

Knott County Central's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Boyle County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
