Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Seeger walked away with it. They came out on top against the Western Boone Stars by a score of 4-1 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Patriots sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Macyn Hughes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Peyton Grimmett, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Seeger's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Western Boone, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-12.

Seeger wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-3 defeat against Delphi Community on the 31st. Western Boone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
