Football Recap: Mount Pleasant Wins Going Away Against West Davidson + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Point, Mount Pleasant was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the West Davidson Dragons 38-20. That 18 point margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Despite the loss, West Davidson still got an impressive performance from Carson Correll, who rushed for 65 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 96 yards and one TD.

Mount Pleasant now has a winning record of 3-2. As for West Davidson, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.

Looking ahead, Mount Pleasant is taking a road trip to face off against Forest Hills at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Yellow Jackets' defense has only allowed 8.4 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for West Davidson, after each having a week off, they and Providence Grove will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. The matchup will give the Dragons their first taste of in-conference action this season.
