The Elkhorn South Storm will be playing at home against the Bellevue East Chieftains at 3:45 p.m. Elkhorn South has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with nine losses in a row dating back to last season, Elkhorn South turned things around against Bryan on Tuesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 93-43 win over the Bears. The Storm's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Bellevue East ended up a good deal behind Lincoln Southeast on Saturday and lost 63-45. The Chieftains haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Elkhorn South will need focus on slowing down Kris Brown, one of several Bellevue East players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 13 points. What's more, Brown also racked up four assists, the most he's had since back in November of 2023. Joshua Jones was another key player, putting up four points and seven rebounds.

Bellevue East's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Elkhorn South, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.
