Softball Recap: Concord Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Concord can now relate to. They came up short against the Scranton Rockets on Friday, falling 10-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Pirates haven't been shut out since back in March.

With the loss, Concord broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-10-1. As for Scranton, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Concord does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scranton, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-2 victory against Bradley on the 16th.
