Center proved they can win big last Friday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sabine Cardinals, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Roughriders, who have now won four games in a row.

Center's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Sabine, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-6 record.

Coming up, Center will challenge Kilgore at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Kilgore's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Center's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Sabine, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Sabine face off against Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
