Dale County took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Andalusia, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warriors won by a run and slipped past the Bulldogs 2-1. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 15-9 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on AK Snellgrove, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season. Madyson McLain was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.
