Basketball Recap: Clemente Takes a Loss

Clemente was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 57-48 to Ogden International. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to Ogden International from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Jacob Brown had an outrageously good game for Ogden International as he posted 22 points. Those 22 points gave Brown a new career-high. Tadari Clark was another key player, putting up ten points.

Clemente now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Ogden International, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Clemente Wildcats duke it out with the Ellison Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Clemente is facing Ellison at the right time seeing as Ellison is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ogden International, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Raby at 5:00 p.m. on January 21st.
