After flying high against Saugus on Thursday, Swampscott came back down to earth. The Big Blue fell just short of the Revere Patriots by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Big Blue's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Swampscott's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Revere, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Swampscott will venture away from home to take on Winthrop at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Revere, they will take on Lynn Classical at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
