Volleyball Recap: American Takes a Loss

American lost against Moreau Catholic back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Mariners by a score of 3-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

American wouldn't go down easily and took Moreau Catholic into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-21, 17-25, 25-17, 16-14.

American now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Moreau Catholic, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2.

American wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Mission San Jose on the 3rd. As for Moreau Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against James Logan on the 3rd.
