Basketball Game Preview: Sotomayor WILDCATS vs. Marshall Rams

The Sotomayor WILDCATS will face off against the Marshall Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sotomayor is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Sotomayor came up into this matchup off a tough 65-point loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of O'Connor by a score of 56-54 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the WILDCATS have suffered since December 5, 2024.

Meanwhile, Marshall came up short against Warren on Saturday and fell 73-60. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Sotomayor's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-12. As for Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-17.

Sotomayor strolled past Marshall when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 66-47. Does Sotomayor have another victory up their sleeve, or will Marshall turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
