After flying high against Sarasota last Wednesday, Lakewood Ranch came back down to earth. The Lakewood Ranch Mustangs lost 5-2 to the North Fort Myers Red Knights on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Mustangs were already down 4-1.

With the loss, Lakewood Ranch broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1-1. As for North Fort Myers, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Lakewood Ranch will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cardinal Mooney at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th. As for North Fort Myers, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Lourdes Academy on the 26th.
