Granby Memorial picks up fifth straight win at home

Recap: Granby Memorial Bears vs. East Windsor Panthers

The Granby Memorial Bears waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They enjoyed a cozy 51-34 victory over East Windsor. Granby Memorial pushed the score to 43-19 by the end of the third, a deficit East Windsor cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the loss, East Windsor still got an impressive performance from Bailey Winner, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Nohely Santana was another key contributor, scoring four points along with 21 rebounds and three steals.

Granby Memorial pushed their record up to 14-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for East Windsor, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season.

Granby Memorial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-39 win vs. Bolton on the 8th. East Windsor has also already played their next game, a 45-16 win against Rockville on the 9th.
