On Saturday Demetrius Hardnett didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. The effort marked the most strikeouts Hardnett has had since back in February. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with less than one earned run. For the year, he has an ERA of .23 over 30 innings pitched.

Coming up, Hardnett and Lakeside School will challenge Macon-East Montgomery Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lakeside School hasn't beaten Macon-East Montgomery Academy recently, having gone 0-10 since March of 2018.
