Rosemount's Taylor Schuelke recognized.

Rosemount High School - Rosemount, Minn.

 

Taylor Schuelke, a senior setter for Rosemount High School in Rosemount, Minn., has been named the MaxPreps/AVCA Minnesota High School volleyball Player of the Week.

 

Schuelke picked up the honor after helping her Irish squad to a 17-11 record to date, including victories in eight of their last 11 contests.

 

Through four games last week, the 5-foot-8 quarterback of the court dished out 46 assists, for an 11.5 assists per game average, in addition to guiding her attack corps to a .254 hitting percentage.

 

In addition, Schuelke added one service ace and six digs, to average 1.5 digs per game.

 

Rosemount is coached by Kristin Helgeson.
