Baseball Game Preview: Indian Hills Braves vs. River Dell Golden Hawks

For the second straight game, Indian Hills will face off against River Dell. The Braves will take on the Golden Hawks at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Indian Hills' pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past River Dell 12-0. That looming 12-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Braves yet this season.

LJ Renshaw made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Renshaw was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Charlie Brugna and Matt O'Shaunossy did most of the damage at the plate: Brugna went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run, while O'Shaunossy went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Indian Hills is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for River Dell, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-15.
