Cross County put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles as the Cross County Cougars made off with  a  51-26 victory. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three  games by 25  points or more this season.
 Cross County was led to victory by  Thatcher Hanson and  Wyatt Hengelfelt.  Hanson  posted 11  points and five  steals, while  Hengelfelt  had seven points in addition to five  rebounds and three  blocks. Hanson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sawyer Anderson, who  put up six points and three  steals.
Cross County pushed their record up to 4-0 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Bruning-Davenport/Shickley,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-3.
 Cross County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  56-44  defeat against Central City on the 21st. Bruning-Davenport/Shickley and Fairbury will round out the year against one another at  at 6:30  p.m.  on December 28th.
