Baseball Recap: Parsippany Takes a Loss

Parsippany lost against Morristown-Beard back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Redhawks took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crimson. The match marked the Redhawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Parsippany saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Parker, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Parsippany's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-1. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 2.25 runs. As for Morristown-Beard, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

While Parsippany had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
