While Friday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Jeymon Reed. He made a major impact on Friday, throwing for 438 yards and six touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. The performance once again pushed his average passing yardage north of 300 yards per game (324.8).

Reed and Altus will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
