Volleyball Game Preview: Mt. Olive Wildcats vs. Cornerstone Christian Cyclones

Mt. Olive is 0-4 against Cornerstone Christian since September of 2021 but things could change on Saturday. The Wildcats will take on the Cyclones in a tournament on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Mt. Olive didn't have quite enough to beat Pawnee and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Cornerstone Christian came up short against Heyworth on Monday and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14.

Mt. Olive's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Cornerstone Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Mt. Olive couldn't quite get it done against Cornerstone Christian when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
