Preview: Mountain View Toros vs. Horizon Huskies
After nine games on the road, Mountain View is heading back home. They will take on the Horizon Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Friday, Mountain View had to suffer through a rough 69-36 loss at the hands of Sunnyside. While losing is never fun, Mountain View can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while Sunnyside is ranked 16th).
Meanwhile, Horizon suffered a tough 54-32 defeat at the hands of Pinnacle on Thursday.
Despite the loss, Horizon saw an underclassman step up: Paisy Perkins scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds. Mia Brown was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 7 rebounds.
Perry's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Mountain View's loss dropped theirs to 6-2.
