Football Recap: Priory Comes Up Short

Priory was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 47-7 defeat at the hands of the Westminster Christian Wildcats. If the Ravens were looking for revenge after losing 47-13 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Priory's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Westminster Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Priory will head out on the road to take on Burroughs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bombers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Westminster Christian, they will host Lutheran South at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats will be up against the Lancers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.6 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
