Basketball Recap: Miller School of Albemarle Comes Up Short

Miller School of Albemarle was the 100-72 winner over Varsity Opponent when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. The Mavericks took a 72-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of Varsity Opponent on Saturday.

Despite the loss, Miller School of Albemarle still got an impressive performance from Odita Aguolu, who went 7-for-15 on his way to 19 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Connor Lyons, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Miller School of Albemarle's loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
