Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Triton). They never let the Highland Regional Tartans get on the board and left with a 22-0 win on Thursday. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Triton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Highland Regional, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Triton is taking a road trip to take on Cinnaminson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland Regional, they will be playing at home against Gateway Regional at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Tartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gators have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
