Preview: Hoover Vikings vs. St. Francis DeSales Stallions
The Hoover Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the St. Francis DeSales Stallions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Hoover is ranked 148th, while St. Francis DeSales is ranked 142nd).
Last Friday, Hoover beat Jackson 27-14.
Among those leading the charge was Zac Braucher, who picked up 127 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Isaiah Barker got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
St. Francis DeSales fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 27-24 win over Bishop Watterson on Friday.
Their wins bumped Hoover to 4-5 and St. Francis DeSales to 5-5.
