Football Recap: Lift for Life Academy's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lift for Life Academy can now relate to. They fell 33-26 to the Seneca Indians on Friday. The Hawks' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jay'Veon Scott, who picked up 26 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 91 yards. Phoenix Isaiah was another key player, having thrown for 261 yards and two touchdowns.

Lift for Life Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Seneca, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

As of now, neither Lift for Life Academy nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
