Basketball Game Preview: Fairview Panthers vs. Oak Hill Rams

The Fairview Panthers will take on the Oak Hill Rams in a tournament on Saturday. Fairview will be strutting in after a win while Oak Hill will be coming in after a loss.

Fairview is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since January 10th on Wednesday. They skirted past Plainview 50-47.

Meanwhile, Oak Hill didn't have quite enough to beat Pitkin on Thursday and fell 60-57.

Fairview will need to focus on slowing down Ty Goodwin, one of several Oak Hill players who made an impact when they last played. He shot 40% from the field on his way to 20 points. Spencer Daniels was another key player, going 6-for-13 en route to 16 points and eight boards.

Fairview's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Oak Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Fairview against Oak Hill in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured an 82-50 victory. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
