Grant waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Northern Michigan Christian Comets by a score of 2-0.

Gee Lillian paced Grant's offense, picking up eight kills. Lillian got some help from Longcore Emma and her 11 assists. Emma was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Grant's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Northern Michigan Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5.

Grant didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Saranac on the 20th. As for Northern Michigan Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pine River Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
