Grayling had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Monday. Everything went their way against the Onaway Cardinals as they made off with a 13-1 win. 13 seems to be a good number for the Vikings as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Grayling pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Onaway, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Grayling will be playing in front of their home fans against Boyne City at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings are facing the Ramblers at the right time seeing as the Ramblers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Onaway, they have already played their next contest, an 8-7 loss against Johannesburg-Lewiston on the 22nd.
