Baseball Recap: MacDonald Comes Up Short

MacDonald was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 9-4 to the Santa Teresa Saints.

Connor Roberts was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Those RBI were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Xzavier Segovia, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

MacDonald's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Santa Teresa, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. MacDonald will host Saratoga at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santa Teresa, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Branham at 4:00 p.m.
