 Perry entered their tilt with Waynesfield-Goshen with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with  a   6-1  victory over the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers  on Thursday. For Perry, this counts as revenge for the   4-0 defeat Waynesfield-Goshen walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in May of 2023.
  Brody Douce was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Douce is crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: he's   stolen at least one every time he's  taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tate Essex, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Perry's win was  their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 3-0. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.5 runs per game. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Perry will head out on the road to  square off against  Bath at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, they will be playing at home against Temple Christian at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
