Lakewood Ranch is 8-2 against Parrish Community since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will take on the Bulls at 7:00 p.m. Lakewood Ranch will be strutting in after a win while Parrish Community will be coming in after a loss.

Lakewood Ranch had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Manatee on Thursday. The Mustangs blew past the Hurricanes 3-0. The victory was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Lakewood Ranch walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Parrish Community didn't have quite enough to beat Braden River on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Bulls have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Parrish Community took Braden River into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking ten-point loss. The final score came out to 25-12, 20-25, 23-25, 25-13, 15-5.

Parrish Community's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Lakewood Ranch, their victory bumped their record up to 15-8.

Lakewood Ranch took their win against Parrish Community in their previous matchup back in August by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
