Recap: Lansing Lions vs. West Chargers

The Lansing Lions lost against the West Chargers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Lansing fell 52-41 to West. Lansing has not had much luck with West recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

West's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kamoni Ford, who scored 14 points. Ford set a new season high mark in blocks with two. Another player making a difference was Jalen Foy, who scored 14 points along with four steals.

Lansing's loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-2. As for West, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lansing will be home for the holidays to greet Piper on Friday. Piper knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Lansing likes a good challenge. As for West, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Junction City at 7:30 p.m. Junction City will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
