Baseball Recap: Leflore County Comes Up Short

Leflore County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the O'Bannon Greenwaves, falling 16-4. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Leflore County's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for O'Bannon, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Leflore County and O'Bannon will both be playing Charleston the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Greenwaves will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
