The Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs will look to defend their home court on Monday against the University Titans at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Flagler Palm Coast pushed their score all the way to 62 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 68-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Atlantic. Flagler Palm Coast has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, University's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 11th straight loss. Their rough 70-46 loss to Father Lopez might stick with them for a while. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly University struggled afterwards.
Loss or not, University got some senior leadership from Aidon Amoah and Ernie Centeno. Amoah dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Centeno. scored 18 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Centeno has scored all season.
Even though they lost, University were working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. This was only their 11th loss (out of 12 games) when they've passed the ball that well.
Flagler Palm Coast's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for University, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-17.
