King gave up the first runs on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They skirted past the South Whidbey Falcons 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Falcons last Monday, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

The team relied heavily on Luke Helton, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

King's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for South Whidbey, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coming up, King's will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Shorecrest at 10:30 a.m. As for South Whidbey, they will venture away from home to take on Coupeville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
