Ichabod Crane has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lansingburgh recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Riders will challenge the Knights at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ichabod Crane has five straight victories, Lansingburgh has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Thursday, Ichabod Crane needed a bit of extra time to put away Voorheesville. They came out on top against the Blackbirds by a score of 6-2.

Meanwhile, Lansingburgh fell victim to Mohonasen and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 12-0 to the Warriors.

Ichabod Crane's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lansingburgh, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Ichabod Crane took their win against Lansingburgh in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 9-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Riders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
