Softball Recap: Chicago Washington Takes a Loss

Chicago Washington fell victim to De La Salle and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 17-0 to the De La Salle Meteors. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Meteors from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Chicago Washington's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for De La Salle, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Chicago Washington will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brooks at 4:30 p.m. on March 31st. As for De La Salle, they will be playing at home against Payton College Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
